This is my second reading of this book, probably worth reading again every few year. but it would probably be more enjoyable to read the trilogy beforehand.
Combined with the misleading jacket description I don't think I've ever had a more disappointing or frustrating experience from a book that I thought was going to be pretty straightforward.It would have been more accurately subtitled not "Creativity and the Artist in the Modern World," but "An Ethnographic Study Through the Works of Whitman and Pound." If that subtitle still appeals to you, by all means read the book, but at least now you have a more accurate perception of what you're in fo. ew.* Just Emma Frost's humour / personality in general (i.e taking a swig out of her flask before her and Jean enter Professor X's mind...)* And this is the first time i've read any comics with 'Angel' in, who i'm pretty sure is the basis for Angel in X-Men first class ( unless there's a third character called Angel in the X-Men universe).
By reading this story, children can see a strategy for dealing with difficulties in a positive way. The gastronomic standards are spectacular as ever, but the academic record will not bear close examination - nor will the account.
The whole time they are having naughty thoughts about each other they are at the same time hurting each other with their nasty words and action.
There were weird/wrong details, the characters weren't developed enough, the love triangle was ridiculous with no basis and ultimately there was no resolution of anything from beginning to en.
it's not a bad book and I enjoyed some parts of it, but overall it's not my favorite :/
